You Are Part of The Game: Penetration Game

From barter trade to selling items at local markets, businesses have grown to unimaginable ways, thanks to technologies & tools that are coming along its way.

The fact is today either you like it or not, you are part of the games that have been played by businesses.

Branding: The Penetration Game

From the favorite toothpaste that you used this morning – to the television shows that you’ve been enjoyed to watch, its all part of the game that end of the day, bring more profits to business. For an example, more viewers on a certain television show (which your emotions have been touched by), allows TV stations to charge more for commercial breaks.

Another example would be Google – the biggest search engine in the world. Thanks to the branding of their ‘Googly’ offices & their technologies, we all think that they are cool and we all want to be part of it, so we used Google. When more people start using their search engine, they are charging more to advertisers who want their businesses to be on top of search results lists.

For businesses, it’s a penetration game that instills brands into consumers minds – which will bring more profit to their businesses. Today, selling is not only talking about why you must buy a product/service, it is now comes to the part where your personal emotions are being used to connect you with their brands.

Ego: A Little Bit About It

If you feel that you are having this kind of ‘ego’ inside you, be careful. It’s the easiest way to get caught into the game.

Some people would spend hundred thousands of dollars to buy a product that actually cost you just a few hundreds – believing that they are using a high quality product that never been offered by any other brands – just to show off to people that they are having a higher quality of lifestyle. At the end of the day, its just a material whether it is plastic, metal, leather and so on.

The key here is to understand that you are actually part of the game. Don’t deny it, just admit it. All we have to do is just open our eyes, don’t act like a naive person, and know how the games are being played and make the best decision for yourself. And at least, try to not to be the victim of the game.

Thanks for reading this!

*As you are finishing reading this article, you also have been a victim of my smaller game where you now start to think that what I have said – MAKES SENSE. This leaves me a good credibility to you. What lack is, I don’t charge you any penny for this ๐Ÿ˜ƒ ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
